ASHLAND, Ore. — With all of the smoke flooding into the Rogue Valley, it can be hard to find things to do that don’t involve just sitting at home all day.
Moonbow Archery is encouraging people to come out and try a class to have some fun, and take your mind off of fire season.
“We’re ready for you. Just bring your archery aim or your best game as we say,” Lloyd Canty, owner of Moonbow Archery, said.
They offer classes twice a week in Ashland. Canty said this can be a great way to do something fun without having to be in the smoke.
“You want to be in a safe area where you can do some fun activities,” Canty said.
Canty also mentions this is a good way for people to concentrate and get their minds off of things such as smoke and fire.
He calls his Instinctive-Style of archery, “Aiming from the heart”. It’ll relieve tension and all of your stress, it’s fun, and also a really good workout,” Canty said.
Moonbow Archery offers Introductory classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced archery enthusiasts.
Beginners are welcome and rental equipment is available if you don’t have any of your own.
