What is the Moonbow Archery Difference?
Higher quality bows and ultra-safe arrows. Breathable face masks and defogging visors. Professional archery instruction. Innovative, creative games.

I Don’t Have any Archery Experience. Can I still participate?
Absolutely! Most of our participants have never done any kind of archery. We will provide basic training, professional instruction and sufficient time for practice shooting.

Who Can Play?
We have games suitable for youth, teenagers, adults, seniors, the tall, the short, the fast, the slow, the experienced and the beginner…you name it. If you’re new to archery or it’s already your favorite sport, you’re bound to love our archery games.

Where Can it Be Played?
Our Archery Games can be played both indoors and outdoors on multiple surfaces: in the field, a gymnasium, a room, a large yard, a parking lot. You can play at your local park, oval, home or work venue to name a few potential locations.

I Want to Hold a Private Event. Can You Accommodate?
Yes. We are happy to host for an archery event for pretty much any special occasion including:
Birthday’s • Family Reunions • Anniversaries • Bachelor or Bachelorette Parties • Corporate Events • Fund Raising Events • Team Building • Church Functions • Scouts • Youth Groups • Schools • Virtually any excuse to get together with friends, loved ones or co-workers and have fun!

How Many are Required to Play ArrowTag?
For private events and parties, a minimum of 10 bows must be paid for. Depending on your group you might like to consider having a few more players than bows. This allows everyone time to play as well as take a rest, grab a drink and watch the action.

What if I Can’t get a Group of 10 Together – Can I Still Play ArrowTag?
Yes. The best way to find out about upcoming games is to Follow us on Facebook or sign up as a member of our ArrowTag Meetup group. It’s free to sign up as a member. You’ll receive updates and notifications when Public ArrowTag events are scheduled:  https://www.meetup.com/ArrowTag-ArcheryGames

How much space is required?
You can play ArrowTag at your local park, gym, oval, home or work venue (indoors and outdoors) to name a few potential locations. For a 10 bow event we need a nice green patch of grass about 11×22 yards (that’s about the size of a tennis court) and for a 20 bow event about 22×33 yards.

How Old do You Have to Be?
For ArrowTag, we recommend players be at least 12 years old as the bows require a little bit of strength to use. (We have other super-fun archery games for youth 6-12 years).

What Kind of Archery Equipment is Used?
We’ve scoured the planet and sourced the best equipment to create an unforgettable experience for playing ArrowTag and our other archery games. Our equipment is produced with the highest quality assurance programs. Our bows and arrows are strong, reliable and look awesome! For our ArrowTag games, each player is issued a bow, face mask and have the option of using an arm guard. Each arrow has a rubber-latex coated soft foam tip and is non-lethal. When hit by an arrow, the arrows simply bounce off the target. The bows have a draw strength from 20 to 24lbs.

Are the Bows and Arrows Hard to Use?
Not at all, we use the same bows for left or right handed players and you get a chance to get used to the equipment with plenty of target practice at the start of every session.

Is it Safe?
Most definitely, we have hosted recurring games at the YMCA, Parks and Rec., venues and local schools. Our arrows have successfully been tested to be safe for operation without face masks; however, as an added precaution face masks are required. (ArrowTag players under 18 years old must have their parent or legal guardian sign waiver on their behalf).

Can I Bring My Own Bow and/or Arrows?
All our equipment is custom designed to work safely together. Therefore, only Moonbow Archery equipment can be used.

What Should I Wear?
There aren’t many weather conditions that will stop a game or ArrowTag so be dressed appropriately. We recommend closed-end athletic shoes to protect your toes. If it rains, a light weatherproof jacket or alternatively a change of clothes and a towel. In the sunnier season sunscreen may be essential.

What Happens if it Rains?
We are happy to play in most conditions; however, we do respect our customers best interests, if you wish to cancel your event due to unforeseen weather we will happily refund you. No deposit will be held.

What Time Do I need to Show up?
All players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to reserved game time. In the instance where safety training is missed, we may decide at our discretion whether any late arrivals may participate in game play. Please contact us and let us know if you or your group will be late and we will do our best to accommodate. However, arriving late will likely result in less game play time and a limited experience.

What Types of Archery Games do you Provide?
We have virtually no limit on the games we can play at Moonbow Archery. We offer a variety of fun and challenging games from innovative and creative games for youth, to ArrowTag for teens and adults.
